Ahead of Tel Aviv concert: Britney Spears visits Western Wall

Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park will be packed with tens of thousands of pop-music loving fans tomorrow evening as Britney Spears takes the stage in Israel for the first time. Spears, who landed in Israel yesterday evening, spent her Sunday sightseeing. The American pop singer was spotted at the Western Wall and even walked through the Kotel tunnels.

American pop star Britney Spears, who landed in Israel on Saturday evening ahead of her highly-anticipated concert in Tel Aviv, visited Jerusalem’s Western Wall on Sunday. Spears walked through the Kotel tunnels as she was accompanied by bodyguards and representatives from the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Spears’ concert will be held tomorrow night in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park. This will be the successful pop icon’s first show in Israel. Tens of thousands of Israeli fans from all over the country are expected to flock to Tel Aviv for the performance. Israel Railways announced that it will increase the number of trains heading to Tel Aviv in the hours leading up to the concert and even offered fans discounted tickets. Bus lines in Tel Aviv will also be increased.
