Ten major users of Instagram from throughout the world were invited to Israel to improve the country’s image abroad. The ten toured the Mahane Yehuda open market in Jerusalem, posting pictures the whole way. 2 million people total view their pictures worldwide. s/u the photographers were invited by students from a pro-Israel group called Stand With Us. The Instagramusers visited Tel Aviv, the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the beach, and have gotten thousands of “Likes.” s/u A picture paints a thousand words, as they say, and these pictures may paint a more realistic picture of Israel. s/u.
