Purim is right around the corner and Tel Aviv is preparing for the annual celebrations. Last year, the Tel Aviv Purim Street Party, otherwise called the Purim Rave, drew over 70,000 people all donning their costume choices for the year while dancing to electronic trance music.

On Friday, March 10th, 2017, Kikar HaMedina (the State Square) is expected to fill once again with crowds of young Israelis celebrating the Jewish holiday. They will wear colorful costumes and will dance with joy.

This year’s party will feature a 360 degree stage in the center of the square for live performances, where Israel's most prominent artists and DJs such as Ivri Lider, Vini Vici, Ella Gutman, Funky Fish and Tomer Maizner will be featured.

The event will officially begin at 12:00 PM on Friday and will likely run through to the early evening. Entrance is free and open to everyone.
