Housing prices in Israel down by 1.2%

The Central Bureau of Statistics stated that this is the biggest drop in almost a decade, but added that prices may still rise again.

The Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Wednesday that housing prices in Israel had gone down by 1.2% over the last two months.

While noting that this is the biggest drop in housing prices since October 2007, the bureau clarified that it is still too early to determine if these statistics indicate a long-lasting shift.
