Knesset Member Isaac Boozie Herzog was the big winner in Labor Party primaries, coming in first after party leader Shelly Yacimovitch

The party list is varied and multi-generational. Amir Peretz was voted in after Herzog, but he bolted the party for Tzipi Livni’s new party. Then came party stalwart Eitan Cabel. Former commander of the IDF’s elite Sayeret Matkal unit Omer Bar Lev was also in the top ten, as was Stav Shafir, leader of the social protests.

Venture capitalist Erel Margalit rounds off the top ten. Shafir said she’ll finally get a chance to accomplish everything they set out to do. All are setting their sites on defeating Netanyahu and Lieberman in Israel’s upcoming general elections
