This past weekend in the cliffs of the Judean Desert, the determined pursuit of a wolf after an ibex was recorded. The incredible display of nature was recorded by Matan Bogololsky, a supervisor for the Israel Nature and Parks Authority in the Ein Gedi Reserve, where he captured the incident with his lens.

During the chase, the ibex and the wolf display incredible abilities as they run and jump between massive rocks. At the end of the pursuit, the ibex slipped on one of the rocks and the wolf attained his wish. As the display could be perceived as difficult among some viewers, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority noted that it is important to allow natural function and activity in order to maintain a healthy nature reserve.
