2 murders in Northern Israel within hours of one another

41-year-old Youssef Sabah Kashua was shot dead in Jadeidi-Makr, located in the Western Galilee. 30-year-old Immad Abu Rukkun was stabbed in his torso during a brawl in the Druze village of Isfiya.

The Israel Police opened an investigation into two murders that occurred very early this morning (Thursday) in the northern Druze village of Isfiya and in the town of Jadeidi-Makr, which is located in the Western Galilee.

At around 3:00 am, 30-year-old Youssef Sabah Kashua was discovered shot in an apartment located in the Jadeidi-Makr Local Council. He was evacuated to Nahariya’s Western Galilee Hospital in serious condition. After failed treatment efforts, doctors pronounced Kashua dead.

Earlier, at about 1:00 am, 41-year-old Immad Abu Rukkun was stabbed to death during a brawl that occurred within the Druze village of Isfiya, located in Northern Israel. MADA paramedics dispatched to the scene identified a serious wound in Rukkun’s torso providing him with medical care. After a number of attempts to resuscitate Rukkun, the paramedics were forced to pronounce him dead.
