Border Police officers locate, arrest 37 Palestinians illegally residing in Israel

37 Palestinians who were illegally residing in Israel were discovered in Central Israel. They were arrested and taken in for questioning.

This morning (Tuesday), Border Police officers discovered 37 Palestinians who were residing in Israel illegally in the Sharon region. The Palestinians were living at a makeshift campsite near a field. The Palestinians were arrested and taken in for questioning.

About half of the Palestinians are minors. At the makeshift campsite, lots of supplies were discovered, which indicates that the Palestinians, all of whom are legal residents of the West Bank, were planning to live there for a long period of time.

In addition, the Israel Police stated that some items that were discovered at the makeshift campsite might have been stolen and thus an official investigation has been launched.
