On Sunday, a terrorist rammed his car into a border police officer and two soldiers in Acre (Akko), lightly injuring them. A soldier at the scene shot the terrorist to neutralize him. He is in critical condition and in police custody.

The attack took place on Yehoshafat Street. The injured were taken by Magen David Adom (MDA) to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. The terrorist is an Arab-Israeli from the town of Shfaram.

The three young servicemen were injured in the face and limbs. An MDA official stated, “When I arrived at the scene near the train station, I saw two fully conscious young men in their 20s. They were lying on the side of the road and suffering from head and limb injuries. I provided them with initial treatment, put them in the ambulance and we took them to the hospital in Nahariya.”
