Another attempted terror attack was thwarted this evening (Monday), as a Palestinian tried to stab an IDF soldier in the neighborhood of Abu Sneineh in Hebron. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit reported that the terrorist was neutralized and arrested by an IDF force without firing any bullets: “He has been taking for an investigation by Israeli security forces.”

Meanwhile in Jerusalem, the violent incidents continued, as a bus driver was lightly injured in the northern part of the city after stones were thrown at his bus and smashed its windshield. A windshield was also smashed on Highway 60 near the Palestinian city of Huwara this evening. Security forces are examining whether a marble was thrown at the vehicle or rather live ammunition.

Earlier today, a terrorist stabbed and injured two police officers in the Old City of Jerusalem. In footage of the incident, the terrorist, a resident of East Jerusalem in his 20’s, can be seen attacking the officers from behind, severely injuring a 28-year-old policewoman in the neck and mildly injuring a 45-year-old policeman, who managed to shoot and neutralize the terrorist a short while later.
