Meanwhile in Jerusalem, the violent incidents continued, as a bus driver was lightly injured in the northern part of the city after stones were thrown at his bus and smashed its windshield. The driver was treated on the spot by Magen David Adom teams and police forces have launched searches in the area.
A windshield was also smashed on Highway 60 near the Palestinian city of Huwara this evening. Security forces are examining whether a marble was thrown at the vehicle or rather live ammunition.
Earlier today, a terrorist stabbed and injured two police officers in the Old City of Jerusalem. In footage of the incident, the terrorist, a resident of East Jerusalem in his 20’s, can be seen attacking the officers from behind, severely injuring a 28-year-old policewoman in the neck and mildly injuring a 45-year-old policeman, who managed to shoot and neutralize the terrorist a short while later.
