Goldin family demands Israeli government refuse to return terrorists’ bodies

After the deadly terror attack in Jerusalem, which claimed the lives of two Druze police officers, the family of Hadar Goldin is demanding that the bodies of the three terrorists remain in the custody of Israel. “The release of the bodies will be interpreted by Hamas activists in the West Bank and Gaza as more proof of the lack of clear Israeli policy in regard to the release of terrorists’ bodies,” the family said in a statement.

The parents of fallen IDF soldier Hadar Goldin, whose body is being held captive by Hamas in Gaza, are demanding that the Israeli government not return the bodies of the three Israeli Arab terrorists who murdered two Druze police officers in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday morning. The two police officers were laid to rest this evening.

“The first organization that rushed to praise the terror attack and its serious results was Hamas,” the Goldin family said in a statement. “Even though those who carried out the terror attack were terrorists with blue ID cards, the cabinet ministers need to seriously contemplate the matter of releasing their bodies because this would be a prize for Hamas.”

“The release of the bodies will be interpreted by Hamas activists in the West Bank and Gaza as more proof of the lack of clear Israeli policy in regard to the release of terrorists’ bodies,” the statement continued.

Shortly after the attack, the Israel Police identified the terrorists as Umm al-Fahm residents. The family members and friends of the terrorists began gathering in the Israeli Arab town and setting up mourning tents. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the Israel Police to dismantle the tents.
