A 60-year-old man was slightly injured in a car-ramming attack at the Gush Etzion Junction in the West Bank on Wednesday afternoon. The terrorist was shot and neutralized at the scene. Magen David Adom paramedics treated him for a head injury and then transported him to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated: “A short while ago, a car-ramming attack occurred at the Gush Etzion Junction. As a result, an Israeli citizen was injured and transported to receive medical care. IDF soldiers who were at the scene shot the terrorist.”

Gush Etzion Regional Council head Shlomo Ne’eman stated that the terror attack “is another incident that demonstrates the terrorism’s desire to subdue us but they [the terrorists] must understand that this will only make us stronger.” Ne’eman wished the victim a speedy recovery and called on the Israeli government to support the settlements and advance construction throughout the West Bank.
