Rocket siren sounded near Gaza border: False alarm

The IDF has announced that red alert rocket siren that was sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council today was a false alarm.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that the red alert rocket siren that was sounded this morning (Sunday) in the Eshkol Regional Council was a false alarm. The IDF reported that no rocket was fired toward Israel.

Yesterday, a rocket was fired from Gaza toward Israel. The red alert rocket siren was activated when the rocket was launched. The rocket exploded in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. No injuries were reported. In response, the IDF attacked Hamas terror targets in Gaza.
