Report: First medical cannabis factory in Israel

Today, the Israeli Health Ministry approved the establishment of the first medical cannabis factory in Israel. The factory will be one of the most advanced in the world and will increase supply by 10 times.

Today (Thursday), the Israeli Health Ministry approved the establishment of the first medical cannabis factory in Israel. The new factory will belong to the Bazelet Group, an Israeli medical cannabis company that serves thousands of customers, which invested tens of millions of shekels in the factory.

According to the company, the new factory will be one of the largest and most advanced in the world and after its completion, the company will be able to provide service to 100 thousand patients every month- over 10 times the current supply.

The approval was received a week after the process to obtain a medical marijuana license was shortened. An additional 100 doctors from within the public health sector will be certified to prescribe licenses and expedite the long and gruesome bureaucratic process.
