Respite holds, but 'terror kites' are still flying

Fires ignited by flaming kites flown from Gaza keep burning in fields adjacent to the Gaza border near Kibbutz Karmia. 26 firefighters and 10 fire-trucks are working on site in order to take control of the fires.
In order to combat the grand-scale fires, the firefighters received today reinforcements of three firefighting aircraft and four additional fire-trucks.
Fires are easily catching in the areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip because of dry fallow fields. Yesterday, firefighters operated in 10 different locations where burning kites ignited fires and were able to extinguish them.
