Israeli civilian pilot injured in failed emergency landing near Haifa

A 46-year-old man was injured Thursday after his plane flipped upside down during an attempted emergency landing near Haifa. He was evacuated to a nearby hospital in good condition.

A 46-year-old Israeli civilian pilot was injured on Thursday after a failed emergency landing near the Haifa Bay. The man was taken to hospital suffering from an abdominal injury.

The Cessna 152 plane flipped upside down during the landing. Rescue forces treated the injured pilot on the scene before evacuating him to Rambam Medical Center. The man was fully conscious when the rescuers arrived.
