Security checkpoints set up in Jerusalem due to imminent terror threat

The Shin Bet informed the Jerusalem District Police that a 15-year-old Palestinian is apparently planning to carry out an imminent terror attack in the city. In light of this warning, the Jerusalem District Police increased its presence and the city is on high alert.

Many police officers and Border Police officers have been deployed to Northern Jerusalem in response to a security threat.

This afternoon (Tuesday), the Shin Bet informed the Jerusalem District Police that a 15-year-old Palestinian from Hebron is planning to carry out a terror attack in the near future. In light of this warning, the Jerusalem District Police increased the presence of its forces in the northern section of Israel’s capital city. In addition, some road checkpoints have been set up in order to inspect passing vehicles.
