A Haifa court on Thursday ordered an Israeli-Arab woman accused of joining ISIS to take off her face cover, the niqab, when appearing in court.

Wisam and Sabrin Zabeidat, who live in the Arab city of Sakhnin, were indicted two weeks ago for illegally leaving Israel with their three children to join ISIS in Iraq. After about a year of living in poverty in the war-torn city of Mosul, the couple decided to return to Israel.
