After the first autumn rain fell across the country yesterday (Friday), Israelis woke up to a wonderful Shabbat for travelling in the Holy Land, as the light rain came to an end today and a slight rise in temperatures was recorded. The skies are less cloudy than yesterday and there is no chance of rain.

The weather throughout the day is expected to be partially cloudy to fair, with northern winds blowing across the coast. The night is expected to be clear and slightly chilly. Next week, the temperatures are expected to slightly rise but will remain close to the seasonal average.

Another indication that autumn is arriving in Israel, other than yesterday’s first fall rain, is that the heat load has subsided across the country after an extremely hot summer.
