Arab-Israeli discovered false messages against him claiming he is a terrorist
Israel: Victims of terrorist attacks abroad to be recognized as Victims of HostilitiesIsrael’s Defense Ministry recognized 6 Israelis murdered and injured in terrorist attacks outside the country as Victims of Hostilities, following an amendment to the law passed by the Knesset. The 6 were hurt in terrorist attacks in Mali, Brussels, Berlin and Istanbul.
Today (Wednesday), Israel’s Defense Ministry announced that 6 Israelis murdered and injured in terrorist attacks outside the country will be recognized as Victims of Hostilities. The announcement comes two weeks after the Knesset approved the proposal that an Israeli who was injured in an attack abroad by an organization that declared that at least one of its objectives was to harm Israel, Israeli citizens and/or Jews would be recognized as a Victim of Hostility - even in cases where the attack was not intended to harm Israel or the Jewish people.
The decision applied retroactively to events as of April 1, 2012, thus adding 6 Israelis to the list of Victims of Hostilities. The decision was transferred to the National Insurance Institute's Victims of Hostilities Division, which will enable victims and their families to receive all the rights and assistance they are entitled to under the law.
