A young Israeli woman was injured on Thursday from an explosion in Moshav Alonei HaBashan in the eastern Golan Heights. Doctors later found a 7.62 mm bullet in her back.

Police and IDF initially said a stone had exploded after being accidentally heated on a portable stove, though it is now believed that the explosion was caused by spillover fire.

The source of the shooting is still unknown, though it is not believed to have come from the Syrian civil war.
