Police officer on leave took down Jerusalem light rail terrorist
Victim of Jerusalem light rail stabbing identified as 21-year-old Hannah BladonHanna Bladon, 21, was a British exchange student who came to Israel for one semester. She was stabbed Friday on the Jerusalem light rail by 57-year-old Jamil Tamimi from East Jerusalem.

The victim of Friday's stabbing attack on the Jerusalem light rail has been identified as Hannah Bladon, a 21-year-old exchange student at the Hebrew University. Bladon came to Israel for a three-month period and was supposed to return to the UK in the summer.
Earlier it was reported that the terrorist, 57-year-old Jamil Tamimi, was neutralized by a police officer on leave who was on the train with his family. "I'm a police officer even when I'm not on duty," the officer later said.
Tamimi, a resident of the East Jerusalem Palestinian neighborhood of Ras al-Amud, reportedly suffers from mental health issues and has tried to commit suicide in the past.
