This morning (Saturday), Israeli security forces were called following a report of gunfire at a vehicle in the West Bank. The driver of the vehicle was lightly wounded by shrapnel and received medical treatment at the scene. IDF forces began searches for the suspects.

An initial investigation revealed that suspects from a moving vehicle shot at the car driven by a man who married a Palestinian woman about five months ago and moved to the Arab town of Beitin. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation. The car was damaged.
