Bedouin family locked up relative in shed for over a decade

A 43-year-old man was discovered today chained inside a shed in Southern Israel. According to the man, he had been held there by his family for over a decade. According to the man’s family, he is violent and mentally ill.

A 43-year-old man was rescued today (Tuesday) from a shed where he was held in one of the unrecognized Bedouin villages in Southern Israel. He was released from the shed after the Israel Police received information indicating that a man was being held there. After he was rescued, the man said that his family had been holding him there for the past 15 years.

The police officers arrived at the shed along with rescue teams. When the police officers and rescue teams discovered the man, he was nude and chained inside the shed. Also, the man’s face was covered in mud. The rescue teams said that the man was frighten when the teams and police officers arrived.

Police officers stated that a water bottle and cartons of ultra-pasteurized milk were discovered in the shed. According to the man, he had been locked up ever since his childhood by his family members who beat him. According to the man’s family, he is violent and mentally ill. The local police department has launched an investigation into the incident.
