Nationwide heat wave continues: Over 100 degrees F in Jerusalem, Beersheba

The serious heat wave across Israel will make outdoor activities today very difficult. The temperatures in Jerusalem, Beersheba and Eilat are expected to exceed 100 degrees F.

The severe heat wave in Israel will escalate on Monday, reaching unusually high temperatures across the country. The temperatures will gradually decrease starting Tuesday but it will still be hotter than usual. A major drop in temperatures will only come on Thursday.

Today’s predicted temperatures: 34 degrees C (93.2 degrees F) in Nahariya, 37 degrees C (98.6 degrees F) in Safed, 33 degrees C (91.4 degrees F) in Haifa and Tel Aviv, 38 degrees C (100.4 degrees F) in Jerusalem, 44 degrees C (111.2 degrees F) at the Dead Sea, 32 degrees C (89.6 degrees F) in Ashkelon, 41 degrees C (105.8 degrees F) in Beersheba and 44 degrees C (111.2 degrees F) in Eilat.
