Today (Tuesday), Haaretz news reported that last week, businessman Arnon Milchan was questioned under caution in London for suspicion of bribing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Netanyahu Gifts Affair.

This, after last December, the billionaire confirmed in a testimony that he has been giving the Netanyahus expensive gifts requested by them for years. The Israeli businessman is suspected of attempting to use Netanyahu’s assistance in several matters related to his business in Israel and abroad. According to sources, he was questioned more than once during the course of last week, and his testimony strengthens the suspicions.

Last month, a former employee at the Prime Minister’s residence stated that he witnessed the presents received by Netanyahu. “I saw Milchan bring cigars and champagne,” he said. “But I wasn’t asked to testify to the police.”
