This morning (Friday), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was questioned for the seventh time in Case 1000 and Case 2000.

Police investigators arrived at the prime minister's official residence and the investigation is expected to last four hours. In Case 1000, Netanyahu will likely be questioned regarding the key testimony of Australian billionaire James Packer.

Several weeks ago, it was revealed that the Israel Police is determined to recommend that Netanyahu stands trial in Case 1000 for accepting bribes, fraud and breach of trust. Meanwhile, it appears that the police will also recommend that Netanyahu should stand trial in Case 2000, although there is still disagreement regarding the relevant offenses.
