Some 120,000 people visited Israel’s nature reserves and national parks on Saturday thanks to the pleasant weather. Among the most popular sites were Ein Gedi, Banias, Masada and the Caesarea Maritima.

Special activities were held at the Banias today to mark the eighth year of the site’s suspension bridge. Israelis who visited Beit Guvrin National Park enjoyed bible stories-related activities.

On Sunday and Monday, the weather is expected to remain pleasant even though northern Israel may experience light rain showers early Sunday morning. Later in the week, the temperatures are expected to increase across the country.
