Package thrown over Israeli prison wall contained knife, phones

A smuggling attempt in a southern Israeli prison failed. A biker threw several packages over the prison wall containing a knife, phones and possibly drugs. The Israel Police discovered the packages and prevented the attempt.

Security cameras from a prison in southern Israel documented a person on a motorcycle throwing an unidentified object across the wall of the prison. After examining the object, it turned out that there were two packages containing communications equipment, money and possibly drugs.

The incident occurred on Friday morning. The packages were opened after an Israel Police sapper examined them. The biker attempted to transfer 2 cellphones, 3 phone chargers, 24 shekels (approximately 7 dollars), a standard pocket knife, material suspected of being a drug and unidentified pills.
