According to the Tel HaShomer Hospital staff today (Monday), former president and prime minister Shimon Peres is showing more signs of recovery. Peres suffered a serious stroke six days ago and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Peres’ doctors said yesterday evening that Israel’s 9th President was able to raise both of his hands. His doctors added that it appears that the left side of his body was not harmed at all.

Yesterday, JOL reported that a CT scan showed that Peres’ condition has not worsened. In addition, the doctors said yesterday that they have started to reduce the dose of anesthetic drugs.
