Police close highway following Ammonia leak

Police have reassured that the leak was small-scale and does not pose a danger to the public.

Police and rescue forces closed a main highway in northern Israel on Friday after a small quantity of Ammonia was spilled from a truck. Police said the leak does not pose a danger to the public.

Earlier this week, a Haifa court ruled that a dangerous Ammonia tank in the city must be emptied within 10 days.
