Police have recently questioned US multi-millionaire Spencer Partridge about gifts he allegedly gave to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara.

This is the latest development in the probe into Netanyahu's corruption allegations, known as Case 1,000. The Prime Minister is suspected of receiving expensive gifts on a regular basis from several wealthy businessmen.

On Thursday, police announced it would not be using the testimony given by Australian businessman James Packer, saying they have enough evidence as it is to warrant an indictment.

Last December, Ha'aretz revealed that Partridge had purchased a half-interest in the home of Netanyahu’s late parents in Jerusalem, thus becoming his property partner.
