A few minutes of rain on Monday were enough to cause major disruptions in several locations across the country. Power outages and floods were reported by many Israelis.

The heavy rain also had a positive impact – it caused the water level in the Kinneret to rise by a centimeter. However, it still needs about 5.37 cm to get to a normal water level.

Temperatures are expected to rise on Tuesday ahead of a warm weekend.
