Tensions in the Gaza Strip area continue to rise as around 2,000 Palestinians gathered along the border on Friday throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli security forces and burning tires. The IDF shot at four rioters who posed a threat to the forces.

Earlier today, three rockets were fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Two of them were intercepted by the Iron Dome system and the third landed on top of a building in an Israeli town. Nobody was harmed, though major property damage was caused. In response to the rocket fire, IDF tanks and Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked two Hamas targets in northern Gaza.
