A military court handed down a sentence of 25 years in prison to a terrorist who injured four Israelis in a 2015 stabbing attack in Rishon LeZion. The terrorist, Amad Tarda, will also pay 200,000 NIS in compensation and a 15,000 NIS fine.

Tarda was convicted of four counts of attempting to intentionally cause a death, which is the equivalent charge to attempted murder, and other crimes such as entering Israel without a permit and possession of a knife. He was convicted in February 2017 as part of a plea deal.
