This morning (Monday), a rocket fired from Gaza landed in open territory in the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. No injuries or damages were caused. The Red Alert Rocket Siren was not activated as there was no threat of the rocket landing in a populated area. Following the rocket fire, IDF forces scanned the area for the rocket.

This is the fourth incident of rocket fire in the area in the past month. On February 9, the Iron Dome intercepted a barrage of rockets headed towards Eilat. Three days before that, a Red Alert Rocket Siren was heard in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. No injuries were caused by either attack.
