Rocket siren in southern Golan Heights deemed false alarm

A rocket siren was sounded this morning in the southern Golan Heights. The IDF determined that the siren was a false alarm, most likely caused by the battles raging in Syria.

The rocket siren that was sounded in the southern Golan Heights towns this morning (Tuesday) turned out to be a false alarm. The IDF stated that the siren was most likely sounded due to the ongoing battles in Syria.

Two days ago, JOL reported that an exchange of fire occurred between an IDF unit and four ISIS-linked terrorists from Syria. The terror cell initiated the exchange of fire by shooting at the soldiers, who responded along with an Israeli Air Force aircraft, eliminating the terrorists. No Israelis were injured in the incident.
