The Shin Bet confirmed Tuesday that the stabbing in which a young girl was injured in Afula yesterday was an act of terror.
As reported on Monday by JOL, Shuva Malka, an 18-year-old girl, was critically injured when a Palestinian man stabbed her as she was on her way to school to take a matriculation exam. The terrorist, a Jenin resident in his 30s, was neutralized and arrested by police forces shortly after he tried to flee the scene. Both Malka and the terrorist were evacuated to Afula’s Emek Hospital.
Security camera footage from the scene shows the arrest of the terrorist. In the video, the police are seen shooting at him as he tries to escape.
