A "red alert" siren was heard Wednesday evening in Eilat after several missiles were launched at the southern-Israeli city. Three missiles were successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, and a fourth one landed in an isolated area.

Local residents reported hearing loud explosions, and some suffered panic attacks.

Earlier, a tank shell landed in the northern Golan Heights as a result of spillover fire from the Syrian war. The IDF responded by firing at a target belonging to Assad's regime.
