Suspected animal abuse in Central Israel: Horse found beaten and bleeding

The Israel Police received a report concerning a horse that had been beaten by a 12-year-old boy in a forest with a rod. The police arrived at the scene and located both the suspect and the injured, beaten and neglected horse.

Today (Monday), the Israel Police received a report concerning a 12-year-old boy who had beaten a horse with a rod in a Central Israel forest.

The police arrived at the scene and located the minor, as the horse was tied up next to him. The horse was found bruised, beaten, neglected and injured. The Israel Police opened an investigation into the matter and brought the minor in for interrogation as he is suspected of animal cruelty. His parents were summoned to the police station and the horse was taken into veterinary care.
