Suspects arrested at Ben Gurion Airport claim they were lost and panicked

The Ben Gurion Airport Police Department released the 4 suspects who were arrested last night after they rammed the security checkpoint barrier and fled towards Terminal 3. According to the police department, the suspects claimed that they were lost and did not want their car to be inspected.

Last night (Tuesday), JOL reported that security forces were called to Ben Gurion Airport after 4 men in a car ignored the checkpoint security staff and then sped away towards Terminal 3. The suspects were arrested and interrogated. This morning, they were released from police custody.

The Ben Gurion Airport Police Department said that the suspects claimed that they were lost and panicked when they suddenly arrived at the checkpoint. The police department added that the suspects are all residents of Southern Israel who claimed that they tried to flee through a hole in the gate because they did not want their vehicle to be inspected. Although the suspects were released, the police department stated that the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
