Tel Aviv parking garage disaster: Death toll rises to 4 as searches continue

This afternoon (Tuesday), search and rescue teams pulled out another body from underneath the remains of the collapsed underground parking garage in Tel Aviv’s Ramat HaHayal neighborhood. The death toll of this tragedy now stands at 4.

Throughout the day, search and rescue teams have been working to locate several people who are still missing. As reported by JOL yesterday, a 4-story underground parking garage collapsed in Tel Aviv’s Ramat HaHayal neighborhood yesterday at around 11:25 AM. 24 people were injured in the tragedy. Most of the wounded have already been released from the hospital. The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry stated that one of the three people who were killed was a foreign worker. In addition, the ministry said that four of the wounded are Israelis who are also citizens of other countries.
