Israeli murdered, terrorist neutralized in car ramming attack near Ofra

A Palestinian terrorist slammed his car into a bus stop near Ofra where a few young people were waiting. One of the victims was critically injured and pronounced dead shortly after the medical teams arrived. Another Israeli sustained minor injuries. The terrorist was neutralized by IDF forces.

A young Israeli was murdered and another was slightly injured in a car ramming attack on Thursday morning near the entrance to Ofra in the West Bank. IDF forces neutralized the terrorist, 21-year-old Malak Hamed from Silwad.

Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene and began to treat the victims. The paramedics eventually pronounced the young Israeli who was critically injured dead. Before he was shot by the IDF soldiers, the terrorist attempted to flee the scene.

A man in his 20s was lying unconscious on the ground with no pulse,” recalled Ilan Klein, a paramedic who arrived at the scene. “We tried to treat him but were had no choice but to declare him dead. Near him, there was a young man in his 20s who was conscious. He was suffering from injuries to his legs.”
