US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman condemned Tuesday’s deadly terror attack during which 35-year-old Raziel Shevach was murdered in a drive-by shooting in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday. The ambassador said that Hamas praises the terrorists while the Palestinian Authority will provide them with reparations.

“An Israeli father of six was killed last night in cold blood by Palestinian terrorists. Hamas praises the killers and PA laws will provide them financial rewards,” read Friedman’s tweet. “Look no further to why there is no peace. Praying for the bereaved Shevach family.”

Shevach, a well-known figure in his community, was a rabbi, a mohel and a Magen David Adom volunteer. He left behind a wife and six children.

As reported by JOL earlier today, the Israeli Defense Ministry has issued a proposal for a bill intended to prevent the transfer of funds to terrorists and their families. According to the bill, the Defense Minister will present the sum given to terrorists before the Security Cabinet at the end of every calendar year and then the same amount will be deducted from Israel’s payments to the Palestinian Authority.
