About 100 Haredi men protested in Ramat Gan last night (Sunday) against the sentence that an IDF draft dodger received. The draft dodger, who is from a predominant family within the Haredi community, was sentenced to 20 days in a military prison. The protesters blocked the access to central roads in the city. Additional protests took place in Beit Shemesh and Petah Tikva.

According to the Israel Police, the protesters disturbed the peace, prevented the residents of the area from conducting their normal routines and posed a threat. The Israel Police added that the protesters clashed with police officers at the scene.
