A 35-year-old man was shot in the neck while driving his car on Tuesday evening near the outpost of Havat Gilad in the northern West Bank. He died of his critical wounds a short time later.
The IDF suspects that the terrorists fired from a moving car. Forces have launched a manhunt for the terrorists. Police have shut down Route 60 in both directions.
One of the paramedics said the man "was semi-conscious and had gunfire wounds in his upper body."
"Local residents who heard the shooting came to help," the paramedic added. "He was given life-saving medical treatment and was taken to hospital in serious condition."
Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli forces arrested a knife-wielding woman who intended to stab soldiers at Shilo Junction in the central West Bank.
