It was cleared for publication today (Wednesday) that the 3 people killed in the Tel Aviv parking garage collapse were Oleg Yakovov (60) of Tel Aviv, Ahad Elchag (34) of Bayit Rima in the West Bank and Denis Deachenko (28) from the Ukraine. Meanwhile, the rescue teams continue to search for the 3 missing persons who are trapped underneath the rubble.

Galina Yakovov was informed yesterday that her husband was killed. Immediately after she heard the reports about the disaster in Tel Aviv’s Ramat HaHayal neighborhood, Galina had a strong feeling that Oleg was trapped underneath the rubble.

Galina is disabled and suffers from breathing problems. Galina and Oleg’s son had a stroke 12 years ago. Ever since, he is in a coma at a rehabilitation center.

Galina’s first son from her previous marriage arrived in Israel on a tourist visa two years ago. The 40-year-old is all Galina has left after her husband’s sudden death. However, the Israeli Interior Ministry is in the process of deporting him.

“I don’t know what to do, I’m disabled and I can’t walk a lot,” Galina told Channel 2 Online. “It’s already hard for me to go every day to visit my son. I don’t even have the money to bury Oleg.”

“He was a good man,” Galina said about her husband. “He always laughed and made others laugh. I just don’t know how I will get by without him.”
