Today (Sunday), smuggled cell phones were discovered in a book brought to a Hamas prisoner from East Jerusalem who was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The cellular devices were transferred to the inmate by his mother, who was brought in for questioning.

Another incident occurred last week, when security cameras from a prison in southern Israel documented a person on a motorcycle throwing an unidentified object across the wall of the prison. After examining the object, it turned out that there were two packages containing communications equipment, money and possibly drugs.
