Nearly a week after Israel attacked Iranian targets in Syria, Israel's Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman implied on Wednesday that it might continue to do so.

"Iran declared war on us long ago," Lieberman said, speaking at a Tel Aviv conference. "They've never hidden their terminology. We've seen terror attacks carried out in Buenos with Iranian inspiration and guidance. We'll do whatever it takes to protect the safety of Israel."

When asked whether Israel will strike in Syria again, Lieberman replied, "Just keep following reports on foreign media. You'll learn a lot."

"We are seeing (Iranians) continuing to invest billions in missiles and trying to settle in Syria," he continued. "We'll do everything we can to stop them."
