Nasrallah: “Trump and his administration have turned into loners”

In a televised speech on Monday, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah attacked US President Donald Trump once again for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. During the same speech, he criticized the Palestinians for not doing enough and then praised them, saying that the days of rage clashes constitute “a real intifada.”

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah slammed the American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital on Monday. During a televised speech, he claimed: “Trump and his administration have turned into loners and only Israel is standing by them.”

Nasrallah also commented on the protests and clashes in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and along Gaza’s border with Israel, saying that the Palestinians need to do more. “The protests for Jerusalem aren’t enough,” he stated. “But [we] must not belittle them and their influence.” Nasrallah continued to call on the Palestinians to oppose US President Donald Trump's decision on the ground and on social media, saying that the clashes in the West Bank are part of “a real intifada.”

The terrorist leader used the term “intifada” several times during his speech. After he criticized the Palestinians for their weak response and then praised them, Nasrallah explained that the only way to deal with Trump’s decision is through a violent uprising.

Today’s speech was Nasrallah’s second address since Trump’s historic declaration last week. “The United States and Israel don’t respect international law and agreements,” he claimed on Thursday. “Trump is raping Jerusalem.”

Nasrallah then mentioned the role that the US has played over the years and how it prevented Israel from taking control over Jerusalem and the West Bank. “Trump’s decision proves that the US has stopped preventing Israel from ‘Judaizing’ the occupied territories,” Nasrallah claimed. “Israel received a green light from the US to continue with its schemes.”
